What is Wellness Coaching?
Wellness is not simply the absence of illness. True wellness is a life where you are thriving, not just surviving. It is a life of experiencing physical health, inner peace , self-acceptance and trust, conscious choice, social and spiritual connectedness, meaning and purpose.
Wellness coaching focuses on the whole person – finding balance in every dimension of health.
Whether you are seeking to transform your health, career, finances, or relationships the first step toward feeling whole and living the life you desire begins with you. ​

The Process
CATERPILLAR –
Where are you now?

We will start by exploring your current state of health. We look at all aspects of wellness from a holistic perspective – physical, emotional, mental, financial, social, and spiritual (whatever that means to you).

Some people know exactly what they want to change and are already highly motivated.
​

Others may need more time to reassess their values, discover what their deeper motivations are, and explore potential barriers to progress.

I meet you where you are and we only move forward when you’re ready.
COCOON –
Where do you want to go?

Using your current situation as a springboard, we begin to create a vision for your future. This is where you decide where you want to go!

What does wellness look and feel like to you? What changes do you want to make?
​

We ensure this vision is crystal clear so you know exactly where you’re headed!
CHRYSALIS –
How do you want to get there?
​

Once you know where you are going, there are many roads you can take to get there!
​

Together we explore, experiment and play with various strategies and tools to discover what excites and motivates you.
​

At this point, we design a roadmap of realistic steps and strategies to help you get there! We find actions you are comfortable with and can stick to.

Change isn’t always comfortable. I offer gentle guidance, support, and motivation to help you experiment outside of your comfort zone. I help you face your fears so nothing can hold you back.

This is all about finding out what works best for you. You are more likely to reach your destination if you enjoy the path you take to get there!
BUTTERFLY -
How is the journey going?

This is your journey – at times we may want to reevaluate and take another route, try another strategy, or learn a different skill. ​As you make progress, we pause to reflect on what you want to change, if anything, and what is going well.
​

Then…when you’re ready, we return to step 1 and go through the process again in another focus area of your choice.

Remember, change is not a destination. We are always evolving and growing! We become butterflies many times over in our lifetime…
